WBBPE Assistant Teacher Notification Info
Assistant Teacher in Primary Schools: 13421 Posts
- Qualification: Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR AND Graduation and Two Year Diploma in Elementary Education Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) (conducted by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education adhering to the rules and principles set by NCTE) Note: Candidates belonging to reserved categories viz, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC-A and OBC-B), Exempted Categories (EC), Ex-Servicemen and Person with Disabilities (PwD), shall be allowed to get relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks as per Note 6 of Rule 6 in West Bengal Primary School Teachers Recruitment Rules, 2016 (amended upto date).
