On Saturday, 13 November 2021, a crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Beaver Island in the far northern part of Lake Michigan. According to the Sheriff’s Officer, the plane crashed just below the Upper Peninsula, Lt. William Church of the Charlevoix County, Michigan.
